New Direct Route Starting June 2027

Pula Airport is pleased to announce a new direct flight route operated by Transavia between Amsterdam and Pula, commencing operations on June 2, 2027.

The introduction of this new route represents an important step in further developing Istria’s air connectivity with one of the most significant European markets, as well as a major aviation hub that enables passengers to continue their travels to numerous destinations worldwide.

Flight Schedule and Three Weekly Flights During Peak Season

According to the currently published schedule, Transavia will operate flights on the Amsterdam – Pula route twice a week during June, with three weekly rotations planned for the remainder of the summer season – on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

  • Wednesdays: Arrival in Pula at 07:25 / Departure for Amsterdam at 08:15

  • Fridays: Arrival in Pula at 21:05 / Departure for Amsterdam at 21:55

  • Sundays: Arrival in Pula at 15:15 / Departure for Amsterdam at 16:05

The scheduled flight duration from Amsterdam is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

This new route is particularly significant due to the strong potential of the Dutch market for Istria, as well as providing better travel options for the residents of Istria and the broader region. Developing air connectivity that caters simultaneously to incoming tourist traffic and local residents remains a key direction for the future development of Pula Airport.

Pula Airport will therefore continue its intensive activities targeted at existing and potential new airlines. The focus remains on developing new routes, increasing capacity on existing lines, and gradually extending operations outside the peak summer tourist season.
